Started in construction
I began my journey as a drone pilot in the construction and land surveying industry, where I utilized drones to capture detailed aerial images and maps, making site assessments and measurements more efficient and accurate. Over time, I honed my piloting skills and developed a keen eye for aerial perspectives. This experience sparked my interest in the creative potential of drone technology.
Gradually, I ventured into the cinema and photography industries, where my ability to capture stunning aerial shots became highly sought after. This transition allowed me to combine my technical expertise with a passion for visual storytelling, opening up new opportunities in these exciting fields.
Bio
I started my career as a land surveyor, specializing in geospatial measurements and mapping. My work involved using advanced equipment to capture accurate data for construction and land development. Along the way, I discovered First Person View (FPV) drone flying and became fascinated with its potential. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, as I realized how FPV technology could offer unique perspectives and offer something new for my construction sites. Now, I combine my expertise in land surveying with FPV drone piloting to provide innovative solutions and stunning aerial visuals.
My approach
Film, for me, has always been more than just a visual medium; it's a canvas where human emotions, landscapes, and stories converge. Every frame I craft is a blend of my experiences, dreams, and the myriad tales I've encountered on my journey. With each film, I aim to bridge the gap between reality and artistry, taking audiences on an immersive journey that resonates deep within.

Between 2012 and 2015, I studied land surveying in Ghent, where I learned geospatial measurements, cartography, and data analysis. The program combined theory with hands-on training, preparing me for a career in land surveying and equipping me with essential technical skills.

Passionate about aerial technology, I pursued becoming a licensed drone pilot in Europe. This training broadened my skills in drone operations for advanced surveying, inspections, and data collection, expanding my expertise beyond traditional methods.
I began my career as a land surveyor, working with construction companies to deliver precise measurements and topographic data crucial for their projects. Integrating drone technology into my work allowed me to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the surveying process.

Modified for inspection tasks, the Avata 1 is flown FPV with a GoPro to gather detailed visual data during inspections, providing a close-up look at structures in hard-to-reach areas.
Equipped for FPV shots both indoors and outdoors, the Avata 2 excels in maneuverability and can capture dynamic footage in various environments.

This all-around FPV drone is used in low-wind conditions for short-range tasks. It’s ideal for capturing detailed shots where precision and stability are key.
Built for more demanding environments, the Evoque is used for outdoor FPV shots in areas with higher wind speeds, such as coastal or mountainous regions. Its long-range capabilities allow for extensive coverage.
